Our Venues
The primary stadium for the Championships will be the new West Australian Athletics Stadium. Opened in May 2009, the stadium is one of Australia’s newest sporting facilities. The new state of the art athletics facilities recently hosted the 88th Australian National Athletics Championships, and selection trials for the 2010 Commonwealth Games took place at the West Australian Athletics Stadium in 2010.
The venue was designed and built to international standards and ensures the athletes maximum performance.
The secondary stadium, all non-stadium events, the event village, registrations, medical areas are within walking distance from the primary stadium.
Secondary Venue – University of Western Australia Sports Park
Tertiary Venue – Ern Clark Athletics Centre
How to get there?
The primary and secondary venues are located a short 10 minute drive from the Perth city centre.
